Calculation of cooling area of sampling cooler

1: If the sample flow rate, cooling water temperature, and initial conditions of the sample are known, then the cooling surface required for the sampling cooler

The product can be obtained from equation (A1):

A=f • 1.0029/3600 Δ Tm • U (A1)

Equation - A - required cooling area, m2;

F - Sample flow rate, L/h;

Δ Tm - average temperature difference, ℃;

U - Overall heat exchange coefficient (U=200 for double-layer spiral tubes and immersion coolers).

When the sample is superheated steam, for every 100 ℃ superheat, the cooling area calculated by equation (A1) should be based on

On the basis of this, it will increase by 12.6%.

2: The average temperature difference can be obtained from equation (A2):

Δ Tm=[(t1-T2) - (t2-T1)]/[L (t1-T2)/(t2-T1)] (A2)

Equation-

Δ Tm - average temperature difference, ℃;

T1- cooler sample temperature, ℃;

T2- cooler sample temperature, ℃;

T1- cooler - cooling water temperature, ℃;

T2- Cooling water temperature at the outlet of the cooler, ℃.

3: The spiral tube of the cooler can be composed of a continuous coil with the required cooling area, or it can be arranged inside and outside of two sets of spiral tubes.
